Suntory Royal, 43%, 660ml One of the most popular whiskeys in Japan comes in a very unusual bottle. With its amber color and bottle, it is already a highlight from the outside. The slim bottle (66cl) of Suntory Royal Blended Whiskey, launched in 1960 to mark the company's 60th anniversary. It was crafted by Suntory's first Master Blender, the legendary Shinjiro Toriii. It is a blend of Hibiki, Yamazaki and Hakushu, making it an incredibly elegant and smooth whiskey. Aroma: Due to its dark color it has a strong aroma of butter and vanilla. Taste: On the palate it has a light woody taste that is not reminiscent of oak but rather of cedar wood. Finish: Light and long finish. You can still slightly feel the alcohol on your tongue. Suntory Royal Violin, 43%, 70ml In the 2000s, Suntory brought a whole series of different musical instruments onto the Japanese market. The very popular Suntory Royal was bottled in this bottling. This is the small 70ml version. Since these bottles were only sold in selected department stores in Japan, these bottles are very rare, as they were also limited.
