Acrylic colors on 100% cotton canvas. The edges are painted so the painting can be hung without frame. The surface is finished with a double layer of a water-based satin varnish, which makes it resistant to UV rays and the passage of Tim.

Federica Belloli, a self-taught figurative painter, blends realism with magical elements, favoring childish subjects in communion with their guide animal, to underline the importance of a pure and innocent vision of the world and the connection with Nature. Her early formative years at the atelier of the esteemed painter and dear friend Rodolfo Guzzoni directed her artistic path towards a profound exploration of portraiture. Her portraits almost act as windows into the human soul, through which melancholy, loneliness and fragility emerge. Belloli mainly uses acrylics for their matt finish, in association with new techniques and materials, creating metaphysical atmospheres. Her artistic process is characterized by continuous experimentation and evolution.
