I'm selling some bottles from my personal wine cellar, which are always very well stored.

Madeira wine is an extremely rare wine to find with very Limited availability, being a unique wine produced in the Madeira island, in Portugal.

Madeira Island has volcanic soil and sub-tropical climate with unique grape varieties, usually six different grape varieties are used for its production: Terrantez (Medium Sweet) - Boal (Medium Sweet) - Malmsey (Sweet) - Sercial (Dry) - Verdelho (Medium Dry) - Tinta Negra (Medium Sweet or Medium Dry) .

Definitely one of the most iconic wines in the world!

This is a gently rich wine and tastes almost medium sweet when young. Verdelho has a deep golden colour. Verdelho Madeira wine exhibits some of the most pleasing tastes, and in drinking Verdelho you will find notes of caramel, caramelized orange, crème brulee and dried fruits and figs as well as some hints of wood. The finish is long and stays fresh with the citrus notes remaining to the fore.

This wine tends to taste drier and fuller with age.

Also have a D'Oliveiras Reserva Boal from 1968 in auction.
