Set of two beautifully detailed large printed and painted ancestor portraits of a man and a woman in the clothing of the Ming period. On the chest the Fenghuang (phoenix), a symbol of wisdom, duty and respect. Dimensions per painting: total approx. 102 cm. x 51 cm. If you include the frame, it is slightly larger (no glass in the frame). Made on linen. Both paintings in good condition, some scuffs and stains, but that's the way it should be with this type of work; see detail photos for accurate details.
