川北霞峰 Kawakita Kaho (1875-1940) Japanese painter of the Meiji to Showa periods. Born in Kyoto. Real name Gennosuke. Studied under Kouno Umelei. Later studied under Kikuchi Hobun. Specialized in the realistic techniques of the Shijo School and produced a wide range of works, including flowers and birds, landscapes, scenery, and figures. In his later years, he preferred to produce scenic landscapes, such as mountain and valley scenes.
