Original woodcut and colour silkscreen by Hungarian artist, poet and writer Lajos Kassák; artist’s stamp; published in the early 1920s.
Although Kassák's early work was strongly influenced by Dada, in the 1920’s he became a Constructivist as a result of his collaboration with artist and Bauhaus professor László Moholy-Nagy.
Kassák founded and edited the widely followed, avant-garde journals “MA (Today)” and the “Tett (The Deed)”.
Condition: Excellent; have never been framed; carefully stored over the years to protect against humidity and light.
