Taketsuru 25 Year Old Nikka 43% Unveiled in Japan in a limited edition on 29 May 2012, Nikka Taketsuru 25 Year Old is the first whisky to be released in Japan. Like the rest of the Taketsuru range, which includes 12, 17 and 21 year old bottlings, this pure malt whisky comes from Nikka's two distilleries in northern Japan: Yoichi and Miyagikyo. Created as a tribute to their founder Masataka Taketsuru, Nikka Taketsuru is an iconic whisky for the Japanese brand. Made from malts that are at least 25 years old, this gem has floral aromas, with fine sherry notes and a sweetness that comes from its long ageing. The whole is enhanced by a touch of peat. #dreambar
