Nomura & Shinkosha - Police Patrol Auto-Tricycle -Japan 1950´s
This is the rarest version of Nomura's famous tricycles. It's fully intact and this version is produced without windshield and light. The color blue is an absolute rarity. This toy is without is box, but In the last photo you can see an example of the box for this tricycle which confirm this variation.
It's made in cooperation with Shinkosha and have Shinkosha's name on the engine block - See photos. It's also marked with Nomura's trademark.
The tricycle is a blue and white Bike with trailer, white tank with red sides and "S" to tank sides, "Police Patrol" to rear top. "Police" to sides of trailer and "Police Department" to rear, light blue Police figure with hat and whistle. The tricyle is battery driven and works very well.
This version have the feature that the tricycle stops ad policeman stomps on the pedals, whistles and sets the tricycle in motion again. I don't know if this version also is made for shifting direction left/right, but the tricycle primarily drives right.
