Conical early Ming shipwreck bowl - China - 14th century, for centuries, this treasure lay at the bottom of the sea.
A beautiful tall conical bowl with a beautiful tall flared edge with thick glaze. The bowl has an ornamental edge and also some unknown characters. The bowl was made in a nice light colour, underglaze blue. 
The inside also has a circle decoration on the bottom with a decoration. The bowl has a light refined craquelure with some inclusions. The bowl has an unglazed bottom. 

Diameter:  13.5 centimetres. 
Condition: The bowl is in good condition, the edge has some wear/traces from the seabed. no break or restoration

Dates from: 15th century, Ming dynasty (1368-1644) 
Provenance: From a private collection.
