The Muramatsu flute has been in my possession for many years. The serial number of 08360 indicates that it is an "early" Muramatsu. It is entirely of sterling silver: header, body, foot and mechanics. The flute has opened valves, in-line, C-frame. No E mechanism. Head and foot are connected by the last two digits of the serial number on the body. The case displays wear only on the edges. The flute is offered with a a carrying case free of charge.
This professional flute was heard in various orchestras and ensembles. Recently, the flute was completely revised at Matthew's Muziek in Edam, with a 3 year warranty on the revision. Then they replaced the pads, corks and felts. Because it is a delicate instrument, pick-up on the spot is strongly recommended.
