Dovecote - decorative bird feeder for pigeons, pigeon loft.

A very decorative, handmade and beautifully designed dovecote.

This charming dovecote is very stable, crafted from wood and painted with a weather resistant semi-gloss white paint. It is hexagonal and is beautifully made. One of the six fronts  can be completely opened to make it easy to clean. The hinges have been cleverly hidden from view so maintainng the charm of this dovecote.
Included in delivery is a metal sleeve in which you can insert a wooden pole to install the dovecote in the garden, which can be  found in various lengths at the hardware store. The pictures show how this magnificent dovecote is constructed.
The roof of the dovecote is covered with bitumen / tar which provides protection against rain and moisture.
Even if you don't keep doves, this beautiful and perfectly finished object can also be used as a birdhouse e.g. for songbirds, and has often been used as a nesting place.
