Michaela Scharnreithner

Armand Jamar, born in Liège 1870, died in Saint Gilles / Brussels in 1946.

Belgian painter, watercolourist and illustrator. Trained at the Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten in Brussels under the direction of E. Carpentier. 
Trip to the Netherlands, France, Italy and North Africa in 1896. His colour palette leans towards French-Flemish Impressionism.
From 1904 he lived and worked in Brussels, but also worked often on the Dutch and Belgian coast and in Bruges. His work can be seen in museums in Brussels, Antwerp and Liège.

Some paintings have been sold for €8,000.

The artwork I am offering is beautiful and the surrounding setting is sumptuous. 
The frame has been restored several times.

A storm impression can be felt.
