Dennis van Kampen

Great pair of candelabra in 925 solid silver and gross weight of 2,396.6 grams, chiselled forming two columns.

Two columns with Corinthian-style capitals, rose windows, volutes, and acanthus leaves. Fluted column with a wide pedestal. Base in the same style, with ram heads on the 4 corners and decorated with garlands between them as well as friezes all around with floral motifs. 

The silver marks allow us to know the place, manufacturer name, and manufacture date: 
England, Birmingham, Elkington and Co, 1857.

They are from Elkington, a craftsman who got orders from the British and Austrian royal families, and received several titles from them. Today you can see his pieces in museums such as the Victoria and Albert Museum as well as others around the world.
