Antique and Large marble column mantel clock, with bronze ornaments and a large Jaguar statue.

- The marble column mantel clock and the large Jaguar zinc alloy statue, are both in very neat condition.

- Beautiful scene, with multiple very detailed and beautiful details. Please see the photos.

- Signed on the front of the stone/rock with France. (Where the Jaguar stands on.)

- Timepiece runs well. And is signed with S. Marti & Cie Medaille de Bronze.  (See photos)

- Equipped with a Brocot movement. The anchor is visible in front of the dial.

Brocot escapement.

Resting escapement invented by Achille Brocot (1817–1878) with semicircular pins of agate or synthetic ruby, which are placed perpendicular to the escapement wheel. The escapement was patented in 1840 and was frequently used in French mantel clocks with a Namur hardstone case. It is often visibly applied in the dial. In which case they are described as: 'éschappement visible' or 'mouvement visible'.

- Comes with a pendulum in the shape of a sun, and a winding key. (see photos.)
