21st century aircraft trolley or air trolley by Driessen Aircraft Interior System, made for KLM. Year of manufacture: 2012 and taken out of service recently by KLM. This is a later generation aluminium double sized aircraft trolley with a weight of 21 kg, which is relatively low compared to the earlier models. In addition, this trolley has not been in service that long and is still in very good condition for a retired flight trolley. As aluminium trolleys have been mostly replaced by lighter plastic models nowadays, this aluminium trolley is part of the final generation of metal trolleys, which is also why these aluminium trolleys are increasingly hard to obtain. 

This one comes with four drawer, 3 light green ones from Transavia (a subsidiary of KLM) and one red one from Martinair. 

CONDITION:  
Every part of this trolley is in working order!  This trolley is still in good condition compared to other aircraft trolleys. There are small dents, stains, stripes and scratches. Please see the detail photos. Two covers on the interior of the doors are missing. Not disturbing.  The wheels of this trolley are in good condition with hardly any wear. Both sides of the trolley feature a foot pedal linked to a well-functioning brake. The top of this trolley is of a remarkably good quality as well. Please view all photos for a complete impression. The four drawers are in good and clean condition. You can always order additional drawers.

These indestructible aircraft trolleys by Driessen are popular as an addition to an industrial interior as liquor cabinet, drinks trolley, storage cabinet for children's toys, or as side cabinet in a kitchen, for example.  
Flight trolleys are also used at the hairdresser's, tattoo shop, catering companies, shops, laboratories, etc. Due to their ease of moving and their indestructible nature, these trolleys are also often used outside for outdoor activities, as a tool trolley but also as a mobile DJ station (please also view the sample photos).

This double trolley is standing on 4 x 2 rotating wheels, so that unit can be easily turned 360 degrees on the spot.  The doors can be folded open all the way to the sides of the trolley, where they are kept in place magnetically.  Aircraft Trolleys have travelled hundreds of thousands of kilometres and were used almost daily, which gives them a battered and industrial character. High-quality materials and good construction methods mean they are still good for decades to come and hardly lose value.

This lot can be shipped within the EU at a attractive rate. Outside of the EU, rates will be higher. 

Pick-up is possible in Houten, two days a week, or in The Hague on the remaining days, depending on your preference.
