This Mercedes 280 SE from 1977 is in good condition for a barn find. This is an American version, hence the wider bumpers. The car is powered by a six-cylinder inline petrol engine with 185 HP (136 kW) and is equipped with an automatic transmission. The automatic transmission variant of the car came with a torque converter. Which provides smooth gear changes and extra power at low revs. 

The W116 has more than 1000 possible combinations when it comes to specifications. The standard equipment entailed a layered-glass windshield, exterior mirrors adjustable from the inside of the car, height-adjustable driver seat, armrest in the back and halogen headlights. 

In addition, this 280SE was fitted with:
- Tachometer
- Electric controlled sunroof
- Power windows
- Seatbelts in the back
- Automatic gearbox
- Cruise control
- Air conditioning
- Armrest in the front

The starter motor works, but the engine does not run. Nevertheless, this is an excellent restoration object.
