Special painting by Marcel Harang of the Notre Dame in Paris (1960, estimate).

Marcel Harang was born in 1910, in Paris.
He inherited his talents from his mother's family because she and her entire family consisted of musicians and sculptors.
Harang studied at the Academy Julian in Paris.
It was said that he has received the gold medal twice, the highest distinction in French art, but he refused to accept it and stated that he was not looking for that kind of fame.
Marcel Harang was known to have exhibited his works in the 'Salon de L 'Art Libre' and the 'Salon de Paris'.
Before World War II (1939-1945), Harang painted with a brush.
He joined the French army in the outbreak of the war, but was quickly captured and tried to escape twice.
He spent five years in a German concentration camp and came out of it as a total physical and emotional wreck.
At that time he developed his new technique and painted exclusively with a palette knife.

Light traces of wear to the frame, otherwise in a fine and neat condition.
