A beautiful and minutely finished off model ship of the frigate Berlin, built in Zeeland in 1675.
The frigate Berlin was one of the first charter ships that the Brandeburg Navy put at disposal of Prince Frederick William I, known as “The Great Elector”. The frigate remained at the disposal of the fleet until 1688. The Berlin was a single decked ship with an harmonious and elegant line and a flat stern, armed with twelve 6 pounder and four 4 pounder, thus being useful for both merchant and war navigation.

This minutely finished off model ship with all the different materials needed is a beautiful decorative and collectible object.

The dimensions refer to the model alone, which weighs 2.5 kg, while the base weighs 2 kg.

Being a delicate item we would prefer the buyer to pick it up in person, if this is not possible we will send a quote for the requested destination.
