The Purple Heart is an American military decoration awarded in the name of the president of the United States to those who were wounded or killed while serving the U.S. Army. 

The copy is in excellent good condition and comes in original box of issue. This too after all these years is still in great condition as seen on the pictures.
The type of box is characteristic of the Purple Heart's that were presented during the second world war and is also called "Coffin Box". 

Including ribbon bar and lapel pin! 

Beautiful original set in top condition. 
Pay particular attention to the sharp details of President Washington's head and the beautiful undamaged enamel. 
Hard to find and a supplement to any collection!
