John Laurance

Extremely nice, rare porcelain bust of an ‘Arabian Stallion’ by Rosenthal, designed by Fritz Heidenreich, around 1950. 

What is unusual about this bust is the bay leaf base, most of the busts by Rosenthal were made with a rectangular base.
Please do not confuse with the busts of Hussmann / Hannibal. 

Marked: Rosenthal Germany + Araber + F. Heidenreich + 1787. 

Dimensions: H.W.L. 25 x 13 x 19 cm, weight 810 grams.

State of preservation: 1 tiny chip on the base (see photos), otherwise in a very good state of preservation.

Shipped as a parcel, insured up to €500.
