Beautiful bronze bust of Diana of Poitiers (1499-1566) inspired by the 16th century sculpture on top of the so-called Diana Fountain on the grounds of the Château d'Anet. This monumental fountain was built for Diana of Poitiers, the mistress of Henry II, and depicts a naked reclining goddess Diana who has put an arm around a deer. The monumental work is now in the Louvre in Paris. 

This bronze bust of Diana of Poitiers stands on a marble base and has beautiful details in the hair and clothing.
The sculpture is made in France, in the 19th century.
