Fine Aged Touareg Sword.

Age: Before 1930, 

H= 77 cm H= 82 cm on the included bronzed metal stand included

A great old used Tuareg arm-dagger from Niger, made of brass, silver, iron and leather.
The scabbard is very fine ornamented with metal silver parts.


Old metal-work with extensive signs of use,  the leather parts are very weak and should be handle with care, some rust on the blade should be cleaned and waxed (see pictures)

This is part of the Prestige pre-1930 selection of objects coming from  the collection of a Belgian scholar specialized in the African art field who wants to remain anonymous. They are guaranteed genuine by David Norden a dealer with more than 25 years experience, and not made for decoration.
