This is an actual “barn find”. An original 300SE W126 series 2 from 1986 with 223,047 kms of experience. This Mercedes-Benz W126 is still very nice and comes from a collection of 27 Mercedes-Benz vehicles. 

The bodywork, certainly given its age, is in very good condition and barely shows rust. Only some spots on the bottom of the doors and on the edge of the boot lid rubber. The bottom is solid and in good condition. Presumably, the car was repainted once in the past because the paintwork looks nice. Only two small spots: on the floor and on the bonnet. 
 
The Mercedes-Benz was brought back into driving condition by performing the following works: 
* Battery charged (not in very good condition, but the car does start) 
* Motor oil replaced 
* Coolant replaced 
* Fuel replaced 
* Fuel lines cleaned with compressed air 
* Spark plugs replaced 
* Ignition cleaned 
* Intermediate exhaust muffler replaced with a new muffler 

After these works, the engine started directly and now runs! 

The automatic gearbox shifts smoothly through all gears and without any difficulties when engaging a different gear. 

The brakes cause some friction, need to be adjusted (car does roll). 

I washed the car and vacuumed the interior before taking the pictures. 

This Mercedes-Benz is equipped with:
* Air conditioning 
* Leakproof power sliding/tilting roof 
* The popular and expensive “manhole cover” rims, including the spare wheel! 
* Pullman interior in good condition 
* Tempomat (cruise control) 
* Seat heating front
* Power windows front
* Electrically adjustable front seats, including headrests
 
It is a German car. Vehicle identification performed by the Dutch Vehicle Authority (RDW) with a positive result so you can obtain a Dutch license (see picture).  If preferred, I can apply for this license at an additional fee. 

Because of an abundance of projects, this magnificent Mercedes-Benz 300SE W126 series 2 is now available for the next enthusiast.
 
Essentially a good and still solid Mercedes-Benz 300SE that will last for many years to come when given the some attention.
