 'Saints connected with the house of Habsburg' part of the 'Fürstliche Chronik'', an account of the ancestry of Emperor Maximilian I. The project was abandoned after Maximilian's death.  When the woodblocks were rediscovered in a monastery, Adam von Bartsch printed the woodcut's again in 1799 as  Die Heiligen aus der Sipp-, Mag- und Schwägerschaft des Kaisers Maximilian I, which gained him a great reputation.
There are altogether four editions of the whole or part of the woodcuts, two from the 16th cent are very rare. This woodcut is from the 18th cent. edition.
