Palekh miniature is an ancient folk craft that has developed and is still developing in the village of Palekh, Ivanovo region. Lacquer miniature is done with tempera on papier-mâché. As a rule, painted items with Palekh miniatures - caskets, egg cases, caskets, panels, ashtrays, brooches, needles and other items - are presented as souvenirs.
The style of Palekh painting has a number of features, namely: smoothness, subtlety of the drawing, black or dark background, a large amount of hatching done in gold, clarity, silhouette of simplified figures. Decorative landscape and architecture, elegance of elongated proportions of figures, dynamic combination of red, yellow and green colors - everything in products with Palekh miniature goes back to the ancient Russian traditions, and therefore so close and dear to the Russian heart.
 “Palekh” becomes has become well-known brand .
There are masters of products for several thousand dollars and nameless products.
