Gorgeous antique Capodimonte porcelain statue.

Made and painted by master Carlo Mollica, descendant of an old important family of Neapolitan majolica manufacturers, who is now in charge of the workshop, named "Mollica Ceramiche", based in Capodimonte (Naples), in the business since the 1920s
While his training has been a traditional one, he introduced a 900s-inspired modern style in the manufacturing process, maintaining at the same time the traditional 800s style of the Capodimonte statues.

The Florist: the delicate and fine facial features as well as the particulars show the master’s craftsmanship.

The master’s signature is engraved at the base of the sculpture 

This artwork, manufactured in the 1930s, has been mounted on a wooden pedestal. It is one of the first created by Mollica Ceramiche

While maintaining the original charm, visible in its details, it shows clear signs of wear and is in need of restoration
