Very rare bottle size,

Amédée Edouard Dor's son-in-law thought he would never return from the war. Fortunately for him and for Maison A.E. Dor, he returned to his land. Unfortunately, the Cognac vineyards had been completely destroyed by the multiple bombings.

Surviving the war, he set about replanting his vines and was able to harvest his first grapes three years later. This Vieille Réserve is therefore the cognac of rebirth, the Phoenix rising from its ashes, marking the rebirth of the House of A.E. DOR.

The aging process for this cognac is truly unique. On tasting, its highly pronounced aromas of white fruit and dominant spice notes create a subtle and delicate blend, the result of a singular assembly.

The family treasure. After having reached by 41,5° natural evaporation, it has been put into demijohns.

Color

Amber-brown color with golden highlights.

Nose

Luscious notes of vanilla, cocoa, roundness and a woody note .

Palate

Sweet on the palate, with notes of nuts and vanilla texture and
roundness..

Aged in dry cellar during some years and many decades in humid cellar.

Die Ware wurde nicht aus Schweden versendet, sondern aus Norwegen. Ich musste Zoll-/Einfuhrabgaben von 28 € extra bezahlen. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht.
