Antique Stem Bowl, silverplated & crystal, 1800s, Denmark. Edwardian design. A fabulous antique centerpiece from the second half of the 19th century. The sturdy and luxurious stem bowl is silver-plated and fully hallmarked on the side with "C.L.R.," "19," "T," & the maker mark. It is quite big. The hand-cut crystal is beautifully shaped as an open flower. It is painted with gold decorations and a lovely flower motif on each one of the pedals. No cracks or chipping to the crystal. The stem stands on a round pedestal, and the bowl is held with a sculptural center in the shape of two gushing waves colliding. An amazing quality piece in excellent condition that will turn any table setting more elegant and stylish with its unique Edwardian design.
