An absolutely stunning silver-plated sugar bowl from the beginning of the 1900s in a wonderful Empire style.
On the lid, there is a small sculpture of a peacock standing on a branch, leaning its head down.
The bowl itself is lifted by three legs that are beautifully decorated with a floral motif. The legs stand on a triangular pedestal.
The condition is great with small signs of wear, i.e., a small bent where the spoon goes and some very small scratches: nothing serious; see photos.
On the side of one of the legs, there is the maker's mark stamp and "NS." On the bottom, it is hand engraved with the model number, "2141".
It's a very unique and luxurious piece that is guaranteed to turn any table setting more stylish and classy.
