Each print is mounted in a windowed white mat and grouped in pairs within blue paper wraps, forming a total of 23 sets. The collection is housed in a durable hard case. "Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji" captures the majesty of Mount Fuji across varying seasons and perspectives, illustrating the dynamic interplay between nature and human life. This groundbreaking series elevated Hokusai (1760–1849) to international acclaim, influencing Western artists during the Japonisme movement in the 19th century. Most prints in this set are in good condition and remain affixed to their paper mats, with some in excellent condition.
