This wonderful large Hungarian ceramic sculpture was made by Hungarian sculptor Jenő Grantner (1907-1983).
The sculpture is beautifully crafted with meticulous detail.
It was made in the 1930-1940 Art Deco period.

Jenő Grantner:
Between 1922-29 he was a student of Lajos Mátrai at the School of Applied Arts, and in 1928-29 of István Szentgyörgyi at the College of Fine Arts. Munkácsy Prize sculptor. He worked with monumental and small sculptures, building and portrait sculptures. Solo exhibitions: Ernst Museum, Budapest, 1958; Thorma János Museum, Kiskunhalas, 1971; VII.
