We are in Loire in the village of Saint-Andelain, an area where Sauvignon Blanc is considered a sacred vine. Didier Dagueneau grew up as a disciple of Henry Jayer, one of the most influential winemakers of the last 50 years. Didier is known for his wines that defy the canons imposed by the certifications and with flair and great skill he devoted himself to his 11.5 hectares of vineyard until his last breath, disappearing in September of the year 2008 due to an illness. The company is now run by his two sons Louis and Charlotte.
The straw-yellow Blanc Fume de Pouilly with golden reflections shines in the glass and moves sinuously. The nose flint, elderflower and lemon peel. With a dry mouth and sharp acidity.
