This is a beautiful woodblock print titled Gion “Yuranosuke”(祇園 由良之介) by Toshikage Osanai and published by Unsoudo in 1998.
It is serial number 113/150.
Yuranosuke” was a famous restaurant facing ‘Hanamikoji’ in the center of Gion, where you could see dancing of maiko and geiko with warm hospitality and seasonal Kyoto cuisine.
Although now closed, this work offers a glimpse of what a traditional Japanese house in Kyoto must have looked like at the time.
The detailed depiction of wooden architecture and old houses stands out in this piece, which exudes a sense of nostalgia and tranquility.

Item Condition:
The woodblock itself is in very good condition with no damage or fading.
