A beautiful and rare rough blue sapphire lingam shaped ritual talisman from the ancient Himalayan, Tibetan-Nepalese culture. Second Millennium AD . In good condition. It has been cleaned in a tumbler and than repolished, so its surface is shiny and smooth, but the nice patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting, carving and grinding . Traces of use and age on its surface. Purchased mid 90's in Kathmandu by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market. Important information : The seller guarantees that he is entitled to ship this lot.
