The optical research instrument is in a state of excellent preservation and all the constituent elements work properly.
The condenser under the observation platform has height adjustment and the obturation of the light flow through an iris-type diaphragm, with impeccable operation. The eye piece has 10x magnification and the 3 original Watson & Sons objectives are the following: 10x, Para 13, 1/12 oil immersion (the latter leads to a theoretical magnification power of 1200x associated with the 10x eyepiece
The microscope has a "revolve" type turret with a single direction of rotation that works perfectly. The mirror positioned on its own element is in perfect condition and has a flat and a concave face.
The black lacquer and chrome finishes in perfect condition complete the imposing image of a well-preserved antique object with all the capabilities in operation.
It is sold with the manufacturer's original wooden box, with functional clasp and key, as seen in the pictures.
