● About the Artist:
Created by Nando López, a digital artist based in Barcelona who began his career as a graduate in Advertising Design in Barcelona. His first professional experiences were in renowned communication agencies, but he later completely shifted his path and specialized as a digital illustrator in the fashion industry, collaborating with globally recognized brands.
As a freelance illustrator, he launched the "Dikhotomy" project, a series of digital illustrations and collages that play with decontextualized elements to provoke both a smile and deep reflection. The *Dikhotomy* pieces are an intrusion into the familiar, a collision of eras, techniques, and styles blended unapologetically to create a stunning and surreal effect. Drawing inspiration from pop culture and street art transform his compositions into fresh visual landscapes filled with humor.
Each image is a deliberate parody of the art world but also an invitation to rethink our perceptions. Here, the classical and the modern coexist, art laughs at itself, and the viewer is drawn into a visual narrative that doesn’t need logic to be captivating.
His art intrudes on the familiar—a clash of eras, techniques, and styles blending without permission, creating a surprising, surreal effect. Inspired by pop art and street art, each piece is a deliberate parody of the art world, but also an invitation to rethink how we view things. Dikhotomy is a creative proposal that shakes up classical art by the great masters to reveal a new world full of contrasts and irony.
Nando López transforms illustration and digital painting into his playground, where every stroke and every pixel build his unmistakable artistic signature. "Altered Art - Altered Concept."
● In addition to selling his creations at local events and exhibitions, he also collaborates with design and decor stores in Spain, France, Belgium, and Norway.
● His illustration "I am Jesus" appeared on the cover of the Polish edition of Newsweek, establishing his place in the international art scene.
