Stunning sectioned Nautilus shell, showcasing its intricate internal structure that beautifully adheres to the golden ratio. The specimen has been expertly split into two halves to reveal its captivating chambers. As shown in the photos, some chambers have minor damage, which is common and does not detract from the overall beauty of this rare find. Perfectly intact chambers are exceptionally hard to come by.
The two halves measure approximately 12.7 x 9.5 x 3.3 cm and 12.7 x 9.7 x 3.4 cm, respectively. The total weight of the halves, excluding the included display bases, is 65 g.
