I am offering for auction a large and impressive mid 20th century oil on canvas ofswans on a lake, by listed artist Athanasius Nikolsky, 1889-1975. Signed bottom right. Offered with no reserve! The painting measures 69 x 57 cm. The frame is 82 x 70 cm. Condition of the painting is fairly good. Please view all photos for accurate condition. A small tear in canvas bottom left. Ready to hang. Please note. Due to the fragile nature of old frames and glass, our shippers do not provide insurance for any damage caused during transit. We go to great lengths to ensure each painting is packed and protected to a very high standard but sadly cannot compensate or refund for any damage occurring to frames or glass during transit. Therefore the frame and any glass is a gift to you with zero value and you are bidding on the artwork only. Due to Brexit, there are delays at EU customs borders though the situation is improving. Please do not blame me for delays or any customs duty payable. I really appreciate your understanding and patience. Steve.
