XXL rara e sorprendente aerinite blu Esemplare - Altezza: 13 cm - Larghezza: 9 cm- 764 g
We are thrilled to offer this wide formation of the rare and striking blue mineral, Aerinite. Collected from the renowned Caserras del Castillo locality in Aragon, Spain, this specimen showcases the remarkable beauty and vibrant color for which Aerinite is so highly prized.
Aerinite is a rare purple-blue silicate mineral, primarily found in eastern Spain, around the Pyrenees Mountains. Its name is derived from the Greek word aerinos, meaning sky-blue, a fitting description for the brilliant hues of this specimen.
Not only is Aerinite celebrated for its vivid color, but it is also historically significant for its use as a pigment in Romanesque murals and paintings in the Andorra region of Spain and France, dating back to the 12th century. The mineral forms as compact fibrous masses, which can be easily ground to a fine powder.
This huge specimen is accompanied by a professional acrylic display case, making it a perfect addition to any collection of rare minerals or historical specimens.
