The Feodorovskaya strongly resembles the Vladimirskaya. The child's legs are folded almost at right angles, the left leg is bare to the knee and Mary's right hand is partly hidden in the fold's of Jesus' robe The icon is named after Michael Feodorov, the tsar who chose it to be the protective icon of his family. A beautiful icon painted on a golden background with the use of bright colours and tender painted faces and influenced by the realistic 16-17th century armory style. Condition: authentic icon.
