I propose 18 phonograph cylinders storing tubes. 13 contains their original complete cylinder, 3 have a broken cylinder and 2 are empty. Each cylinder storing tube is ca. 11 cm high and 7 cm in diameter. Black cylinders molded in composite wax appear in 1902. The “Pathé cylinders” were the French competitors of the “Edison cylinders” and produced until 1905. The catalog number and recording details are visible on each case (see photos, and list here under). The Edison cylinder is in a very good state of preservation. It can probably be played (not tested however). 3 cylinders are broken (see description and pictures) all the others are complete. The cylinders have varying degrees of mold stains (see photos). Mold affects greatly the quality of the cylinder. The cylinders have not been tested and I do not guarantee that they can still be used to play music.
