Beautiful pair of wooden snow shoes.
Snowshoes are a small piece of art. The wood has to be skillfully bend in the tradional shape and the weaving is done with rawhide making is durable to be used in the harshest conditions. This model has a tail so when you walk the tail stays low and drags in the snow making it possible to keep a straight direction to cover long distances. Made in Canada or the northers regions of the USA. Traditionally these were made by indian tribes who were believed to be the first to use snowshoes to hunt during the wintertime.
