Six 18"x24" (61x46cm) unsigned offset posters in an open edition from Amplifier’s Wide Awakes series by Roger Peet, Tian Widjaya, Obey Giant, Osheen Siva, Giri Dwinanto, Galih Putra, and Aaron Glasson.

In 1860, as the United States careened toward the Civil War, a group of young patriots launched a movement to wake up the country. “The Wide Awakes” of 1860 were mechanics, laborers, and clerks who opened their eyes, stood up, and marched and sang in the streets with flags and capes and banners by the tens of thousands. Eventually, hundreds of thousands agitated for a little-known presidential candidate from the newly formed Republican Party: Abraham Lincoln. They were creative with their use of art, song, and public rallies, and pushed for the abolition of slavery at a critical moment in history.

160 years later, we face a choice as a nation: chaos or community? Once again, it’s time for a wake up, a reset, and a reimagining of what is possible.

The set is composed of 6 offset litho's measuring 24x16 inches (61x46 cm) each. The set will be carefully shipped in a tube.

Shepard Fairey is considered one of the most influential street artists at the moment. Fairey is politically active and most famous for the posters he has made for the campaign of Barack Obama.

Ik bestelde een kunstwerk uit een oplage can 5 Ik heb 2/5 besteld maar 3/5 gekregen. Nou zijn ze bijna hetzelfde maar toch vind ik het niet netjes dat ik iets anders krijg dan geadverteerd

Hi, zoals aangegeven was het houtwerk beschadigd van het gewonnen item. Toen we dit bij verzending constateerde hebben proactief een gelijk item aangeboden dat in uitstekende staat was. We willen onze klanten nooit teleurstellen.

Correcte en snelle bezorging. Dankjewel. (Door de koerier werd het pakje wel gewoon voor de deur gezet, zonder af te tekenen.)
