This is an all genuine bird fossil skeleton with tail feathers from lower Cretaceous. The bird skeleton is presented in dorsal view with outstanding skeleton in natural black colour. What make this specimen special is its feather imprint around the body. What’s more is the presence of tail feathers which extended even into the matrix. A piece of matching split opened fragment from the tail feathers is provided to proof that the tail feathers are all genuine. This fragment is included in this auction.
Slab size：27cm x 24cm x 1cm
All natural with almost ZERO restoration, only cracks are rejoined and reinforcement was done at back of the slab to maximize its stability.
This specimen will be shipped from Hong Kong by courier service. Will communicate with the winner before shipment to easy your concern.
Parcel will be packed carefully and safely to maximize the protection. However, due to the fragile nature of large and heavy fossil, please accept minor damage of the fossil on arrival. Insurance at buyer’s additional cost; otherwise the parcel will NOT be insured.
