Casa Ferreirinha and its wines are synonymous with time and art. This has been the case since its foundation, in the 18th century, by Bernardo Ferreira, who saw the formula refined by his descendants, especially by his granddaughter Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, who affectionately became known as "Ferreirinha" or "Ferreirinha-da-Régua" by the people of their land. Through the hands of Dona Antónia, who twice as a widow found herself at the head of a large company, Ferreira consolidated itself admirably. Her entrepreneurial spirit taught her to foresee, decide, create, teach and love, making her a figure of great projection and charisma.
Slightly ruby in color, this Ferreirinha from old vines has an aroma of excellent complexity, with notes of spices, pepper, nutmeg, curry and ginger, presence of red fruits, truffles, sous-bois, balsamic, cedar, resin and slightly mentholated, stony and with well-integrated wood. In the mouth it presents firm and well-polished tannins, well-matched acidity, notes of spices, especially pepper, and a very balanced finish.
