Description:
On offer we have a very nice carved nephrite russet jade sculpture. This nice sculpture has a white tone color and greasy appearance. The sculpture has been carved in the shape of a pixiu, with attention to detail. The natural brown (russet) tones are incorporated into the forehead, eyes and nose. On the underside, the brown color is completely incorporated in the form of a large lingzhi fungus. Provenance: acquired from mainland China.
This fine jade pendant passes the scratch test for good hardness, no scratch with hardmetal scratch pen possible! Also checked with UV light; which indicates a natural color. Also tested for thermal conductivity, which indicates Nephrite jade. A rare and rather large piece, very suitable as an addition to your collection or to present as a special gift.

Very good condition! No damage!

This jade sculpture measures about 6,5cm in length and ca. 3,5cm in height. It weighs ca. 148,3 gram or 741 Carat.
