Horst P. Horst, Mainbocher Corset, 1939.

In his photographs, the psychology of the characters, theatricality, the use of light and a technical mastery that is difficult to compare prevail. The creator of iconic and unforgettable images. Madonna was inspired by this famous photograph of the "Mainbocher Corset" for her video for the song Vogue.

Horst P. Horst is one of the great fashion photographers of the 20th century, creator of iconic and unforgettable images. Horst was a great portrait painter. He portrayed everything from artists and writers to presidents and royalty. In the 1930s, he became aware of the role that Hollywood movie stars were taking on, assuming the vacancy left by the flight of European royal families after the war. His first portrait of the actress Bette Davis appeared in 'Vanity Fair' in 1932. In the eighties, he was recognized by collectors and experts, and experienced the rebirth of his career (although he had to stop working in 1992 due to loss of vision). Some of his best work was for Vogue France, returning to the aesthetics of the 1930s.

One of the most influential photographers of the 20th century along with other photographers of his time such as: Man Ray, Ansel Adams, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Edward Steichen, Werner Bischof, Robert Capa, Elliott Erwitt, Walter Evans, Eugene Smith, Philippe Halsman, Diane Arbus, Eve Arnold, Robert Doisneau, among many others.

It's no fotoprint but cheap copyprint made with ordinary printer on paper not to be used for decent fotoprint. Not worth more than 50cents

We are sorry to hear that you do not like the print. But this is a subjective opinion. These prints are almost 20 years old, and no specific paper weight or type is specified in the description (because I don't know), and you have quite a few detailed photographs of the item. You have received the same item as shown in the photographs.

Snelle verzending, zeer goed verpakt! Blij met mijn aankoop!! 👍🏼
