Appreciated second edition of this Civil Law classic, with the text composed in two columns in roman and italic characters, sometimes adorned with woodcut vignettes. The title page is printed in black and red. The author was a notable 17th century Spanish jurisconsult, with an international reputation. Contemporary binding in painted parchment, with a fault on the spine and others in the corners. Few pages with some contemporary underlining in ink specially in the index. Two pages with an old ink stain on the outer margin.
