The Korean War, known as a conflict that began with North Korea's invasion of South Korea on June 25, 1950, lasted for about three years, from 1950 to 1953. In the initial phase of the war, North Korea seized a significant portion of South Korea, leading the South Korean army to retreat. Subsequently, the United Nations formed a military coalition to defend South Korea against North Korea. This coalition consisted of unified military forces under the leadership of the United States, with 16 countries participating in the conflict. One of these countries was Turkey.
