A very fine bronze tripod censer, 19th century, measuring 8 x 13.2 x 12cm and weighing 494g, marked to the underside with apocryphal cast and chiseled Xuande reign mark. Acquired at a Brussels, Belgium antiques market. Condition: When we purchased this censer one of the handles was broken off but still present. The handle has been professionally re-attached but unfortunately the restorer had to polish the surface due to major colour differences as a result of heating. Nevertheless, we guarantee that the censer is an antique item. Repaired to the handle. Minimal wear commensurate with age. This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
